Frequently Asked Questions

What sizes are available? In hexagon shapes, the gazebo is available in four diameters,   7 1/2, 11, 14 1/2 and 18 foot.  Also available is a square gazebo with 9 foot sides and a rectangular gazebo 17 feet long and 9 feet wide.

Will the gazebo rust? No, the gazebo is made from cast aluminum and will not rust. Even the gazebo's hardware will not rust as it is made from stainless steel.

Will the gazebo need to be repainted or stained like a wooden gazebo? No, the gazebo has been painted using a polyester powder coat paint which is resistant to fading and peeling even from harsh weather conditions or from exposure to the sun's rays.

Is the fabric canopy similar to a patio umbrella top? No, the gazebo's canopy is made from a heavyweight, awning grade solution dyed acrylic fabric, That means that each thread in the canopy is dyed before it is woven into the fabric top. A patio umbrella top is usually a print fabric, a blank fabric where the color is simply printed onto the fabric, A patio umbrella manufactured this way will eventually fade and lose any water repellant properties that it once had.

Will the gazebo move in a strong wind? No, the gazebo will be secure for a number of reasons. First, the gazebo canopy has a wind vent which releases strong wind pressure. Second, the gazebo is anchored at each of its six vertical posts to a secure base such as interlocking stone, concrete, wood or patio paving stones.  Thirdly, the gazebo weighs about 325 pounds.  ( the 11 foot model)

Does the gazebo purchase include the fabric canopy? Yes, your gazebo purchase includes the fabric canopy, cast aluminum frame and all necessary hardware. You will only need to supply the screws required to fasten the gazebo posts to a secure base.

Can I move the gazebo after it has been assembled? Yes, whether moving the gazebo around the yard or across town, simply disassemble the gazebo and re-assemble it at a new location

I live in a snowy area, should I take down the gazebo in the winter? No, but to prevent damage from the weight of snow, you must remove the canopy from the gazebo. (This will take about 10 minutes)

I want to make a walkway through the gazebo, how can I do this? The hexagon gazebos come complete with five fixed sides, which allows for one opening. If you would like to have a walkway through the gazebo, simply decide where you would like the openings and fasten the sides in accordance with your design.

Are bug screens or other types of screening options available? Yes, bug screens are available for all models. Also available are full and half height sun screens, wind screens and privacy screens.

What is the warranty on the gazebo? The gazebo's aluminum castings are warranted for ten years.  The canopy is warranted by Sunbrella for five years.

How much more expensive is a Tepraco gazebo than a wooden gazebo? Surprisingly, our cast aluminum gazebos are approximately 30% to 50% less expensive than a comparably sized cedar or redwood gazebo. This, in spite of the fact that the Tepraco aluminum gazebo will retain its current beauty for years and years to come.

Why would anyone buy a wooden gazebo? We don't know.
